Pacing Grass is the world’s first startup to pioneer patented bio-composite products made from bamboo, rice husk, coffee husk, and crop residue (Parali), setting a new benchmark in sustainable manufacturing.
At Pacing Grass, we saw something different in agricultural waste. Instead of burning it or throwing it away, we found a way to turn it into a strong, durable, and eco-friendly bio-composite material using our patented technology.
This single material can be used to manufacture products in almost any shape with the help of custom molds. From plates, bowls, coffee mugs, trays, spoons, bottles, planters, and other daily-use products to automotive components, engineering parts, industrial products, and customized business solutions, the possibilities are endless.
Our products are designed to be food safe, BPA free, microwave safe, dishwasher safe, non-toxic, UV safe, lightweight, sustainable, carbon locking, carbon negative, and proudly made in India. We also offer fire-retardant grades (UL94 V0) on request for industrial applications.
Pacing Grass is supported by some of India’s leading innovation and research organizations, including IIT Kanpur Startup Incubation & Innovation Centre (SIIC), SABAGRIS, ICAR-IIFSR, Startup India, and the Nexus Program supported by the U.S. Embassy. Our mission also supports agriculture by creating value from bamboo, rice husk, coffee husk, and crop residue that would otherwise go to waste.
Our journey has been recognized through several national and international platforms, including 1st Position in the SIDBI Innovation Program organized by KPMG in association with the Embassy of Israel in India; Emerging Startup of the Year 2023 by Headstart Network Foundation; Nexus Graduation (U.S. Embassy Program); a Product Showcase to the Deputy Secretary of State, U.S. Government; and a feature on DD Kisan for our contribution to sustainable agriculture.
Today, Pacing Grass is building more than products—we are building a new way of manufacturing. Our goal is simple: replace conventional plastic with sustainable bio-composite materials and make eco-friendly products accessible for homes, businesses, industries, and the world.
